- Timely and accurate recording of journal entries in accordance with the corporate closing schedule
- Research and document retrieval to support Senior Staff
- Timely and accurate preparation of entry level assigned balance sheet reconciliations
- Timely research of reconciling items with exceptions reported to Senior Staff for review
- Carry out any reasonable request by management that employee can perform
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred, but NOT required
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five years experience in a month end close general ledger environment would be acceptable
- Hotel/Resort/Hospitality experience preferred, NOT required
- Ability to work overtime to assist Financial reporting department deadlines
- Entry level knowledge of various accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment (team player)
- Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures in English
- Ability to write procedure manuals
