Family and Childcare Specialist: Nurturing Nanny and Family Assistant Needed for a Busy, Loving Family in Brooklyn Heights, NY!
The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Nanny/Family Assistant position would be a nurturing and responsible individual with a passion for childcare and family support. They should have experience caring for children of various ages, with a particular focus on toddlers and infants. Being organized, proactive, and adaptable is crucial, as they will be managing the daily routines of a 3.5-year-old and an 8-month-old, while also helping with household duties, and helping mom stay on top of things. The candidate should be comfortable with driving and able to drive/pick up the older child from school. Flexibility is valued, as the schedule may vary, with three days starting early in the morning and ending in the late afternoon, one day potentially being a later start and end for a date night, and Fridays possibly being a shorter day. The candidate should be open to assisting with additional household tasks such as the children's laundry, light housekeeping, organizing/keeping the playroom and home tidy, cleaning toys, etc. and help with meal preparation/cooking for the kids, grocery shopping, and light errands, as needed. The family is willing to guarantee 40 hours per week, and someone who embodies warmth, responsibility, and adaptability will be the perfect fit for this role.
