Private family looking to hire a loving, experienced Nanny/Family Assistant for their home in Harrison, NY
The Ideal Candidate: This family is looking for an intelligent, kind, and responsible nanny to take care of their 15-month-old son and help support the household with light housekeeping, laundry, and other tasks as needed. They are looking for a self-starter, who is honest and trustworthy and who engages with their son, and helps him grow, learn and play. They will want their nanny to have autonomy but will need patience in achieving that goal as their son builds trust and becomes comfortable with the nanny.
What Works Best for Family: Someone who is intelligent, cooperative, flexible, and responsible. Mom works from home but is busy during the day so they would love someone who bonds with their son and can care for the child without many disturbances. The baby is still breastfeeding, so someone who is comfortable with mom being home and popping in for feedings is the best fit. Someone who can be part of a team effort with mom (i.e. if the baby needs mom, the nanny would be handling other things around the house and know when and what to be doing) will thrive in this role for many years to come!

Position Compensation
