The Job Duties
Under direct supervision of the Director of Marketing, this position will assume responsibility for all assigned aspects of photo and video content creation, including but not limited to:
- Storyboard, write scripts, film, color, edit and upload video content for Hoyt.
- Storyboard, develop shot lists, capture, edit, process, and distribute photography assets.
- Receive, edit, and upload content received from Hoyt partners.
- Supporting and contributing to the Hoyt Marketing strategic process and team brainstorming.
- Manage all assets (photography and video) in safe, redundant, and industry-approved processes.
- Bring marketing-conscious content ideas to the team.

Please note that this is an in person position in Salt Lake City, UT.
Hoyt Archery, an industry leader and world-renowned brand in archery and bowhunting gear is searching for an experienced Photo and Video Content Creator to join their Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strategic vision, urgency, and excellent photo and video skills to the team.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Requires an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Experience 1-3 years in video and photo editing.
- Content (script and supporting) writing skills.
- Creative thinking.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to foster a team-oriented cooperative work environment.
- Understanding of lighting, motion capabilities, etc and use of equipment including lightboxes, studio lighting, flashes, gimbals, microphones, and related hardware.
- Strong field and studio photography skills.
- Strong Filming skills.
