Overview

The GreenCoast Warehouse Associate provides a high level of attention to inventory management support, order fulfillment and overall safety. The daily goal is 100% inventory and order fulfillment accuracy with zero work time loss due to unsafe practices. As well as to support the GreenCoast company values and image.

Warehouse Associate Position Responsibilities: As a warehouse associate, you will be assigned roles such as picking orders, replenishing stock, and conducting quality control.

Receiving and Inventory:

• Receive inbound stock accurately measuring PO items and quantities against physical receipts
• Enter inventory receipts into WMS accurately and timely with the goal being day of receipt
• Move received inventory to assigned put-away locations, consolidate on existing pallets as necessary
• Conduct regular cycle counts as directed by Warehouse Manager

Order Fulfillment and Shipping Preparation:

• Working with Warehouse manager, review daily pick orders to optimize time and reduce steps in order fulfillment
• Stage orders based on company delivery or outside carrier, over pack as needed, palletize and stack mixed products to lessen damage, strechwrap orders for support and protection
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Organize warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check, verify and fill customer orders
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
• Process RMAs
• Support will call customers – route customers to the correct departments
• Support Warehouse Manager as needed

Facility Maintenance

• Constantly maintain shipping and receiving dock aisles and put-away locations for safety and cleanliness
• Assure pallets within rack are properly and securely stowed and not leaning
• Regularly patrol entire warehouse to remove all loose pallet straps, stretchwrap and broken pieces of pallet, and other items considered trash in the aisles, within the racks and on receiving/shipping and dock apron.

Requirements:

• A positive "can do" attitude
• Proven warehouse experience
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to operate an electric lift and reach truck
• Knowledge of warehouse environment
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move heavy products
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs consistently
