Bandsaw Operator

Performs manual duties necessary to cut and shape various types of foam on a vertical or horizontal Band Saw.

• Operate the bandsaw machine to cut foam materials according to specifications provided by production team.
• Inspect and measure foam materials to ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Keep the machine and work area clean and organized.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its smooth operation.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate with the production team to ensure that materials are delivered in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot any issues with the bandsaw machine and report to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in foam cutting using a bandsaw machine.
• Knowledge of different types of foam materials and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
