Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our restaurant operations, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards and served efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Qualifications:
- Required to obtain Food Handler’s Certification.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese Cuisine preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
- Maintain quality and safety standards.
- Label and store food properly to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Follow opening, closing, and shift change procedures.
- Communicate effectively with FOH staff to coordinate food service timing.
- Comply with food service health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning floors, and taking out trash and assisting the FOH as they will assist you. We are a TEAM.
