The Restaurant Front of House Team Member will be responsible for greeting and serving customers, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. They will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive experience at the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Required to obtain Food Handler’s Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, upbeat, and positive attitude
- Basic math and computer skills
- Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently (in-person or via POS)
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and friendly manner
- Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, front counter, and restroom
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve complaints professionally
- Must be able to learn HuDa Pho's Menu
- Learn and maintain knowledge of our menu to effectively communicate all items and ingredients to the customer.
- Operate POS systems and handle cash/credit card transactions
- Assist with to-go orders, curbside pickup, or delivery coordination
- Comply with food service health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
- Working as a TEAM and helping the kitchen with dishes, prepping, orders, etc...
Compensation Policy:
The Restaurant Front of House employee will be paid an hourly rate of $14.70. In addition to the hourly rate, they will also receive tips from customers, which will be collected and distributed according to the restaurant's policy.
