We are seeking a service-oriented but assertive individual to provide clients and their companion animals with a positive appointment-making, check-in, and check-out experience.
Under the direction and guidance of the Client Services Supervisor, and in cooperation with other team members, Client Services Representatives:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Welcome and check in clients and patients
- Check out clients and patients
- Collect and process payments
- Communicate with clients before and after appointments as needed
- Provide clients with accurate information in a friendly, caring, compassionate, and professional manner
We're looking for:
- At least one year experience in customer service in any industry
- At least one year experience as a veterinary or medical receptionist preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to interact calmly with sometimes emotional clients
- Computer skills; experience with Pulse practice management software preferred but will train
- Phone skills, including a clear speaking voice
- Accurate data entry and money handling skills
- Work well within a team
- Be responsive to professional feedback and direction
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in the vicinity of and engage in limited handling of dogs, cats, and other small mammals
- Fluency in English required; fluency in Haitian Creole or Spanish strongly preferred
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. While the current schedule is M-F, future Saturday hours are possible.
