Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, focusing on various areas such as obstetrics, gynecology, and other medical imaging needs.
- Utilize sonography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and examination results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and determine appropriate next steps in patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging techniques to enhance skills and improve patient outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasonography is required.
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology practices and procedures is preferred.
- Experience in Ob/Gyn ultrasound procedures is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and team members.
