Hunter Contracting is seeking General Laborer to assist construction crews with various duties.
Responsible For
- Cleaning or preparing construction site to eliminate hazards.
- Demolishing and/or placing construction materials.
- Measuring, marking or recording layout areas for construction.
- Signaling equipment operators to align and adjust machinery.
- Loading, unloading materials, machinery, tools and distributing to appropriate locations and personnel.
- Has a great deal of awareness of soil conditions and proper slopes.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor under adverse weather conditions.
- Able to stand, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, crouch for long periods.
- Able to work and communicate well with team members.
- Takes pride in craftsmanship
- Works within precise standards of accuracy
- Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines
- Practices good safety habits.
- Minimum one (1) years' experience in the construction industry in highway/street & road construction.
