Position Summary
- To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice.
Primary Position Responsibilities
- Initial Intake
- Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care
- Patient Order
- Point of Care
- Patient Safety
- Attend Staff Meetings
Work Contact Group (Internal/External)
- Physicians and residents at various levels of training, patients, patient’s families, outpatient office staff personnel, some HMC dept. personnel, representatives from laboratory pharmaceutical companies.
Reporting Relationships
- Reports to (position):
- Nurse Manager and or Nurse supervisor
- Practice Manager, Office Manager, Practice Director
- Supervises (position(s):
- Supervises-clinical staff in absence of Nurse supervisor/manager
Qualifications
- Minimum Education:
- Required:
- Nursing diploma
- Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
