Hurlbut Care Communities is interviewing for dynamic, organized, experienced RN's to join our team as the Directors of Nursing. Our interdisciplinary healthcare team is committed to providing the highest quality, clinical and holistic care to our residents.. Hurlbut Care Communities, a family-owned group of 13 skilled nursing facilities whose mission is to provide person-centered care to our residents and support to our families – to enrich body, heart, mind and spirit. We are hiring at locations in both Monroe County and Steuben County.
Job Responsibilities:
As the Director of Nursing you will function in an administrative capacity to assure that resident services are provided in accordance with New York State and Federal regulations and the policies and procedures of our facility. You will lead a dedicated nursing staff and work collaboratively with the Administrator, Medical Personnel and other Department Heads. You will have interaction with representatives with hospitals, insurers and other outside agencies.
You will enjoy a collegial relationship with other Directors of Nursing within Hurlbut Care Communities.
Additional Requirements of the Director of Nursing include:
- A current license and registration in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS.
- Include highest standards of nursing practice.
- Proven track record of managerial experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
