What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales position at Huron Mountain Bakery?

We are looking for someone to add to our counter sales team! We are seeking someone with a flexible schedule to work around our current set schedule. You would work the same days and shifts every week, unless a shift is needed to be filled. Primarily looking for someone to work mid days(10am-6pm) and closing(1pm-9pm). Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in finding the right products and making purchasing decisions
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock and ensure products are properly displayed
- Upsell additional products to customers
- Provide product knowledge and answer customer inquiries
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with operating cash registers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
