Full Time Instructor- Physical Therapist Assistant
Education- Associate degree or higher required
Experience-
- Must be a physical therapist or physical therapist assistance who holds an active, unrestricted PT license or PTA license/certification. Must be able to obtain TN license if not currently licensed in TN.
- Minimum of the equivalent of three years full-time post licensure experience within any US jurisdiction
- Prior teaching experience preferred, but Hussian College will provide training
Position Summary: Faculty plan, prepare and deliver quality instruction to students by utilizing approved course curriculum and instructional methods that accommodate multiple learning styles. This is a full-time position.
Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate organized, engaging classes based on course objectives and course curriculum
- Assess student learning using appropriate methods
- Monitor and evaluate student progress; provide feedback and advising to students regarding progress
- Effectively resolves student concerns or complaints
- Participate in new faculty meetings, student orientation, graduation and other campus events, as appropriate
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in the field and with instructional and educational practices and methods
- Other duties as required
