Position: Structural Welder 1st
Job Location: Pascagoula, MS
Hutco Branch: Moss Point, MS
Range of Pay: $29.61-$30.61 per hour with per diem for those who qualify
Description: Responsible for the welding of metal fabricated parts by utilizing various welding processes and positions within a shipbuilding environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 -4 years shipyard experience in FCAW (Flux Core) & SMAW (Stick Welding)
- Must know Ship terminology
- Must pass military standard tests in vertical (3G), overhead (4G), horizontal (2G), the weld test is for x-ray quality.
- Must weld both fillet and butt welding
- Must pass drug test (HFT) and E-Verify
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, ascend and work at heights, under all weather conditions
