ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
We are looking for a Licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) with at least 5 years of experience in electrical design, specializing in power distribution, lighting, grounding, short circuit and arc flash studies. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and a strong understanding of electrical codes and standards. You will work on diverse projects, collaborating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality electrical designs.
- Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
- Perform electrical load calculations, fault current analysis, and arc flash studies using tools like SKM PowerTools or ETAP.
- Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design, with a focus on power distribution, lighting, grounding, and arc flash studies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for creating construction documents and 3D modeling.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70/70E, IEEE) and energy standards.
- Experience with electrical analysis software (e.g., SKM PowerTools, ETAP) for arc flash and coordination studies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
