HX5 is seeking a qualified Logistics Equipment Specialist at Hill Air Force Base. This individual will provide technical management of an item or system, subsystem, or commodity during the sustainment phase of a program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The person in this role will provide integrated logistics support to include: provisioning and source coding, maintenance data collection, validation of technical orders, configuration management data, analysis and evaluation of quality deficiency reports, and/or identification of alternate sources of supply for diminishing manufacturing/ materiel sources.
- Review and provide feedback to the Government on effectiveness and efficiency of Combat & Mission Support Systems and maintenance management, as well as the need for improvement of existing Range Systems practices that impact the overall program acquisition and sustainment.
- Evaluate Air Force directives to ensure adherence to Government and Air Force standard methods, conformity in maintenance and equipment procedures while ensuring the proper use of Combat & Mission Support Systems, facilities, and support personnel.
- Conduct Logistics Supportability Analysis of Illustrated Parts Breakdowns to assure adequate piece part availability to support Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) & Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) repair capability.
- Support integrated logistics support efforts, provisioning and source coding, maintenance data collection, technical order management, configuration management, analysis of AFTO Form 22s, preparation of AFTO Form 252s, evaluation of quality deficiency reports, and/or identification of alternate sources of supply for diminishing manufacturing/materiel sources preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
- BS/BA degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant technical/professional experience; or, seven (7) years of directly related experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
