IT Software Developer Analyst - Lead (Level 4)

🕒 Duration: 12-Month Contract

💰 Pay Range: $54-60/hour

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer (Lead level) to support the design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions. This role will join an established engineering team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

The position focuses on building and maintaining modern web applications-typically a Python-based backend with a Vue.js frontend-deployed in a cloud environment (primarily AWS).

• Contribute to system and component-level design for complex software solutions
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Independently own and deliver significant technical workstreams
• Quickly ramp up on large, evolving codebases
• Work effectively with ambiguous or evolving requirements
• Participate fully in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams and customers
• Identify risks early and help guide technical decisions during delivery
• Support production workloads, including troubleshooting and performance considerations
  
  

• 15 years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with modern web application stacks
• Proficiency in Python-based backend development
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js (or similar)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Strong understanding of databases and production systems
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team-based delivery
• Excellent communication skills and technical leadership capability
