POSITION DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities / Duties
- Close month and prepare monthly financial statements (including subsidiaries),
- Review / development of financial management policies, procedures and practices,
- Executing financial systems in accordance with generally accepted and government accounting standards,
- Audit interface (DCAA, financial statement)
- Regulatory compliance (GAAP, FAR)
- Accounting process organization / documentation
- Supervising staff
- Maintaining / improving accounting systems, financial control and reporting
- Billing, invoice, payroll, AP processing / review
- Collaboration with other senior managers to provide expertise in accounting,
- Financial assessments, reporting and rendering advice on the financial strategy and systems strategy of HGL.
- Reconciliations and journal entries for leases, revenue recognition, cost allocations, other accounts as needed, etc.
- Other unique and challenging assignments,
