Intern, Quality Service Engineering
The Intern, Quality Service Engineering will support the Model Line Quality Engineering team in a variety of quality-focused tasks and vehicle development activities.
Major Responsibilities
Support Quality Engineering Tasks
- Assist engineers in researching and data mining quality issues, especially using Voice of the Customer (VOC) data.
- Retrieve test parts for quality investigations.
- Review and test the Quality Reference Guide (QRG) in vehicles.
- Help author Quality Information Reports (QIRs).
- Participate in vehicle quality evaluations.
- Ensure test vehicles are instrumented and ready for ride and drive activities.
- Help update standard operating procedures (SOP) and vehicle development calendars.
- Work on project-based assignments that address actual challenges in automotive quality and service engineering.
- Collaborate with the Model Line Quality Engineering team to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Hands-on, project-based experience in automotive quality and service engineering
- Help develop technical, analytical, and communication skills, preparing them for future careers in the automotive industry.
- Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2026
- Local to Fountain Valley, CA (no relocation or housing will be offered)
- Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Compensation: $25.00/Hour
- Must be a high school graduate
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Interest in automotive engineering and/or the automotive industry
- Organization and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, high integrity, and ethical behavior
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
