Job Duties and Responsibilities
Customs:
Responsible for providing import/export support for Hyve products with various government regulations.
Ensure export transactions comply with Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
Determine import/export classification (HTS/ECCN) of Hyve products and technology
Assist with the creation and maintenance of export control policies and procedures
Participates in both import and export internal audits.
Supports any governmental inquiry regarding trade.
Develop and/or enhance the division’s foreign licensing programs.
Experience dealing with one or all of the following regions: APAC, LATAM, or EMEA.
Interface with freight forwarders, customs brokers and external customers to ensure shipment compliance with government regulations.
Manage a diverse workload which may include changes in priorities and responsibilities.
Assist the Sr. Manager with developing and implementing tools or processes for continuous improvement of the trade compliance activities.
Traffic:
Obtain air/ocean freight quotes as needed
Occasionally, track shipments as needed for customer updates.
Advanced knowledge of Traffic/Customs procedures and policies.
Knowledge of MS Office including Excel & PowerPoint.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Customs Broker’s License, CES/CCS preferred

Pay: $70,500.00 - $90,000.00 per year
