ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Intregration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment to government customers. We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a Project Controller in Virginia Beach to support our Division General Managers.
Position/Job Description:
- Provide senior business management support to Division General Managers (DGMs) to manage all contracts within budgets and to maximize profit achievement
Perform research and assist responding to potential financial issues with sound recommendations and action strategies
Serve as the DGMs primary interface with corporate finance, contracts and human resources directorates.
Maintain metrics to gauge the division’s progress against budgets and goals
Assess the financial health of division contracts and budgets and provide analysis and reports to the DGMs for managing financial results
Serve as a resource to the divisions' project managers in creating and monitoring project budgets and schedules
Review new contract’s structure and constraints in order to support new contract set-up in the accounting system
Manage financial and contract tracking tools for invoices, charge numbers, fee structures, periods of performance, and required reports
Maintain division financial and contract records
Develop contract EACs /ETC's/spend plans and subcontractor accruals
Assist with cost proposal development and preparing cost performance estimates for incremental contract funding
Monitor division business development target list and assist the DGMs with identifying required actions and providing information to the Program Development Department
Develop financial performance forecasts and assist with indirect pool management
Review time and expense collections for compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
Travel up to 10% may be required for official business at company office in Washington, DC.
Educational Requirements:
- BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Knowledge and experience with DoD contract structure, Navy (DON) preferred.
Must have Costpoint experience, Costpoint budgeting module preferred
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience in applying project management principles to ensure project financial performance in concert with budgets
Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with managers and employees at varying levels in an organization
Ability to work independently in monitoring multiple organizational activities and providing analysis and recommendations
