ICX Group is seeking an Accounting Professional looking for a mentor and family oriented culture. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to learn all of the functions within the Accounting and Finance team, working closely with the CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Begin with understanding the various roles and responsibilities within the CFO umbrella and progressively take on more responsibilities including:
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports or statements.
• Revenue cycle, contracts, and accounts receivable.
• Accounts payable.
• Payroll.
• Implement and oversee strict financial controls and systems.
• Assist the CFO with budget and financial forecasts.
• Implement and maintain continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the company’s financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reviews and coordinate the review process with external auditors.

Requirements:

• CPA is required. Will consider somebody currently working towards obtaining the CPA.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 4 years of Accounting experience
• Willingness to work full-time in office
• The ideal candidate has 2 – 5 years of public accounting experience and 2 – 5 years of industry experience as either an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, experienced Senior Accountant, or an Audit Manager from a public accounting firm.
