Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional lathes and mills to turn, bore, form, face, and mill various materials.
- Maintain punctuality and support steady workflow across production.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding tool requirements, parts needs, and any production issues.
- Accurately log production data in the Employee DC application.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance training related to AS9100 and DDTC standards.
Requirements and Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience or formal training in job shop manufacturing.
- Strong experience in CNC machine setup for both mills and lathes.
- Knowledge of both CNC and conventional machining techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and planning documents.
- Understanding of machine tools, their function, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 & DDTC compliance is strongly preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for DDTC compliance).
