Workstation Technician

Responsibilities for the Workstation Technician:

• Coordinate hardware and software orders, from receipt to installation, in collaboration with Workstation Support Services.
• Ensure proper equipment labeling and document device specifications according to Mayo standards.
• Independently conduct on-site installations, provide customer service, and offer technical support for repairs.
• Serve as a technical liaison, collaborating with various support services, and assist with end-user training when needed.

Requirements for the Workstation Technician:

• High School Diploma and 2 years of professional customer service experience supporting PC and Macintosh desktop computing hardware.
• Skills must include knowledge of Operating Systems and configuration, hardware configuration, and software installation.
• Associates degree in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or related field. OR two years of Technical School training in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or related field.
