AR Billing Specialist (Managed Care Biller - Skilled Nursing)

Spark you career with Ignite! We are hiring in our Park Ridge office for an AR Billing Specialist - Managed Care. The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Process claims to ensure proper billing information and to resolve any discrepancies.
• Review, prepare, and submit claims for electronic billing.
• Billing timely and accurately and following up on Medicare and Secondary, Managed Care Claims through final resolution.
• Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancies or rejection to payments if necessary.
• Review Managed Care Remittance advice for payment errors, rejections and denials and initiate appeals as required.
• Responsible for all claims collection follow up by contacting insurance companies, resubmitting claims, and working aging reports.
• Review account aging on a regular basis and report inconsistencies; correct errors as appropriate.
• Identify billing errors for correction and resubmit via provider review form (appeal) or new submission.
• Review Insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for payment errors, rejections, and denials.
• Answer facility and insurance company inquiries in a timely manner.
• All other projects and/or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year Managed Care Billing experience in long term care facility-Billing in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Knowledge of collections processes and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Office, and Excel).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Point Click Care is a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicare DDE.
• Ability to work as a team member in a responsible, professional and proactive manner.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow as the company expands and changes.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail and prioritize work in a busy business office setting.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
