Key Responsibilities:
Regular Reporting
•Weekly Reports: Provide updates on sales performance.
•Monthly Reports: Explain actual and projected revenue to ordinary profit, analyze variances against annual budgets (management accounting), and provide analysis of asset holdings.
•Quarterly Reports: Prepare financial accounting reports and generate numerical and textual information for shareholder reports and external announcements.
•Annual Duties: Analyze the home builder company’s annual budget, transfer data to required headquarters submission formats along with explanatory documents.
•Ad-hoc reporting as requested by headquarters and other stockholders.
Other Duties
•Approval Acquisition: Prepare detailed explanatory documents for matters requiring approvals,
such as land acquisition for new housing developments planned by the homebuilder,
primarily in Japanese.
This involves analyzing business opportunities from both macro and micro perspectives.
•Tour giving: Accompany visitors to various sites,
This may involve providing airport pick-up/drop-off and may include travel to other states.
•Other Support: Provide comprehensive support to the subsidiary as a representative
Qualifications:
Strong Background in Accounting and Finance:
Proven understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial statement analysis.
Interest in the Housing Business:
A genuine interest in and understanding of the residential construction industry.
Excellent English Proficiency:
Ability to comprehend spoken English in meetings, rapidly interpret contracts and internal documents, and engage in general conversation.
Advanced Japanese Proficiency:
Ability to draft reports and explanatory materials in Japanese, and to accurately understand feedback and revision requests from headquarters, supervisors, and collaborators.
