About the Role
As a Manager at IL MAKIAGE, you will own and execute multiple end-to-end product development projects, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage key supplier relationships, and drive consumer insights to shape product launches that disrupt the beauty and wellness industry.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage detailed project roadmaps, ensuring product launches meet scope, quality, and timeline objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing and supplier engagement while managing performance.
- Translate insights from consumer feedback and surveys into actionable product changes.
- Conduct research on consumer trends, competitor products, and market gaps to inform product innovation.
- Track and analyze focus group testing performance to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate new technologies and packaging innovations to enhance product differentiation.
- Manage external partners, agencies, and contract manufacturers.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and emerging innovations to contribute fresh ideas to the product pipeline.
Who You Are
- 2-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, high-growth start-up, or similar high-intensity role
- BA/BS degree from a top university, preferably in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, from concept to launch.
- Strategic thinker who can connect consumer insights to product strategy.
- High level of ownership, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
