About the Role:
ILMO Products Company is hiring a dedicated Acetylene Cylinder Retest Technician to join our Charleston operations team. In this role, you'll ensure acetylene cylinders are inspected, cleaned, tested, and requalified to meet federal safety standards. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with their hands and thrives in an active, safety-first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and prepare cylinders for inspection and testing
- Perform visual inspections and equipment maintenance
- Apply new markings and paint to approved cylinders
- Properly dispose of non-compliant cylinders
- Accurately complete required forms and logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Forklift experience and mechanical aptitude a plus
- Ability to lift 100 lbs and maneuver heavier loads with equipment
- Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor settings
