Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives, translating them into technical solutions that align with the company's overall architecture and strategy.
- Design end-to-end solutions for retail and e-commerce systems, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and usability.
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of omnichannel retail solutions, integrating online and offline channels to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural principles.
- Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within existing systems and processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in the retail and e-commerce space, making recommendations for innovation and advancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and IT operations, to drive successful delivery of solutions on time and within budget.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the retail or e-commerce industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance retail systems, including e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, POS solutions, etc.
- Proficiency in architectural design principles, patterns, and frameworks, with the ability to balance technical feasibility and business objectives.
- Hands-on experience with relevant technologies and tools, such as cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), microservices architecture, API management, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- This is a full time role that can offer relocation and sponsorship
