Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage high-volume accounts receivable processes, including invoice generation, payment application, and customer account reconciliation.
• Utilize accounting software to apply payments and maintain accurate financial records efficiently.
• Collaborate with managers to resolve discrepancies and follow up on missing approvals.
• Maintain detailed and organized records to support month-end close activities.
• Work closely with the accounting team and CFO to ensure smooth transactional accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate timecard approvals and timely payroll runs.
• Support accounts payable functions and assist with vendor invoice processing as needed.

Accounting Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and payroll processing
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in accounts payable functions
