Job Position: Electrical Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Durham, NC 27703
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of advanced pharmacy automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of robotic systems from concept through production, including prototyping, testing, validation, and certification.
- Translate complex system-level requirements into robust electrical architectures and specifications.
- Support legacy products by developing diagnostic tools, test setups, and firmware updates.
- Design and refine systems involving robotics, motion control, power electronics, and embedded control.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering roles with a focus on product development and support.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools for schematic capture and board layout.
- Experience with LabView and/or LabWindows CVI for test automation.
- Strong background in motion control, AC power electronics, servo systems, and embedded systems.
- Expertise in bare-metal C programming, including memory management and interrupt handling (NXP and STMicro preferred).
- Familiarity with C# development in Visual Studio (preferred).
- Proven experience with system-level electrical architecture.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards including UL-61010, UL-60601, CE, TuV, and EMI/EMC compliance.
