Salary: Starting at $20 not limited to. Pay is based on years of experience, and overall skill/ability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
- Point to point wiring of relays, controls, interfaces, and instrumentation.
- Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or other power tool-type equipment.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, builders, installers, engineers, and project managers.
- Meet production deadlines.
- Calculate electrical loads, specifications, requirements.
- Complete project builds/implementation of control cabinets and equipment.
- Testing of control cabinets and associated equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Read and interpret electrical schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Skilled in the use of measuring, diagnostic, and hand tools.
- Knowledgeable in NEC (National Electrical Code) UL Listings.
- Proficient in applying UL 508 standards.
- Proficient in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Self-motivated, task oriented.
- Required to pass a preemployment drug screening.
- Must be able to physically perform all required duties which may include bending, lifting 50-pound objects, carrying 50-pound items, squatting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, working outdoors most of the time, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
Must have Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience building electrical control panels/electrical experience.
