Job Title: RN - Critical Care-Adult PACU
Job Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
Pay Rate - $68/hour (Local), $75/hour/w2 benefits (Traveler)
Shift: Evenings/Nights every third weekend, no call.
Duration: Long term contract
Looking for a pre-post RN for our recovery room at Downtown Hospital. Should have previous critical care experience, PACU experience required. 13 -week contract. Position is 6, 12-hour shifts in two weeks,11-2330 and 19-0730, every third weekend, no call.
Qualifications: Current New York State Registration.
Certified in BLS and able to be recertified.
Minimum of 2 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital.
Travelers will only be considered if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.
Experience with an EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated.
Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim.
Must have verification of legal right to work in U.S.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
All candidates are subject to drug screening and criminal background check as described in this Agreement.
Duties: Able to perform majority of patient care skills, good nursing assessment in the level of acute care setting in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision.
Salary : $68 - $75
