What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Applications Competency Enablement Manager position at Infineon Technologies?
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for enabling and supporting the distribution partners’technical resources to become proficient in demand creation activity forInfineon products, technologies and solutions.
- Act as the link betweenInfineon Segments/Divisions and our distribution partners ensuring that partners have the necessary competencies to successfully design-in andsell Infineon’s products.
- Align with the segments/divisions to identifyskill gaps and develop strategies to address them ensuring thatdistribution partners have the required competencies to meet customer expectations.
- Deliver training programs (certification),workshops and webinars to equip distributor technical resources with thenecessary technical knowledge to support the design-in of Infineonproducts. Lead the Infineon participation at distributor FAE centraltraining events.
- Lead the collaboration withdistribution partners to incorporate Infineon cross selling data intheir internal digital platforms.
- Identify new tools that are in development by our distribution partners and align with Divisions/Segments on appropriate data exchange opportunities toposition Infineon solutions in these tools.
Heatmaps: Own the collection of applications heatmap data from distribution partners and align with Divisions/Segments to ensuretraining and enablement of FAEs for key applications is in place. Demand Creation Recognition Awards: Own the reporting of distributordemand creation results to support the annual Americas Demand CreationDistributor of the Year awards
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Understanding of the Semiconductor Distribution business
- Experience in dealings with Sr Management and Executives from ourDistribution network Ability to collaborate with and influence individuals from differentteams or departments, even when you don't have direct authority overthem, requiring strong communication, relationship building, and persuasive abilities to achieve shared goals
