Must meet the following Minimum Qualifications and Education (Minimum Qualifications MUST be attained before the recruitment start date.)
- MUST be In possession of a Florida Class "D" license from the DOACS.
- MUST have a copy of Graduation Diploma from High or valid GED Certificate.
- MUST have at least two (3) years of security experience. If you have Prior Military, you MUST have DD214.
- MUST have VALID Florida State Driver License
- MUST Possess reliable transportation.
- MUST have 24/7 Smartphone (Android, iPhone) and Computer Internet Access.
- MUST have good grooming standards (hair, nails, beards, etc.) per SOP.
- MUST pass a Drug Test and Background investigation.
- Must be in good physical condition, in traffic control areas.
- MUST be willing to work outside.
- MUST have TWIC CARD or ability to apply and receive one.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to complete all mandated training in accordance with deadlines and responsibilities.
- Ability to work well individually and with little or no managerial oversight. Self-motivated and resourceful. Able to prioritize and accomplish job-related goals and tasks with minimal direction based on training and experience.
- Strong English communication skills, including Reading and Writing: Ability to read instructions and procedures; including SOPs, post orders, statutes, laws, and regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior veteran, military/law enforcement preference: submit documentation to support entitlement to preference must be provided at the time of application.
