Senior Project Manager (IT Project Manager, Senior)
Job Description: The Senior IT Project Manager leads enhancements to the Planisware PPM tool. Planisware is PPM tool. Project Manager is responsible for defining the scope, schedule, budget, and resource needs, and controlling other project variables. Responsible for risk, issue, dependencies and assumption management.
PM's primary responsibility would be to create and maintain a backlog of Epic, features and user stories in partnership with PG&E IT PM community stakeholders.
Work with the Planisware vendor to ensure timely delivery of the Epics, features and user stories.
Create a project schedule to track and manage the project deliverables.
Presentation of the Planisware roadmap to executive leadership.
Track and manage project financials.
Address scope, schedule, and budget variances.
Responsible for communicating the changes to the delivery organization.
Addressing any changes to the project delivery standards and procedures.
Responsible for organizational change management.
Qualifications:
5 to 7 years relevant experience in program and project management
PMP is a Plus
Bachelor's or equivalent degree or experience
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in using a PPM Tool
