What are the responsibilities and job description for the Capital Markets Business Analyst position at Infosys?
Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst in Capital Markets Domain. As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA / Quincy, MA / Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Experience in Capital markets functions and trading in Equity, Derivatives and OTC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience working in Capital markets functions and trading in Equity, Derivatives and OTC.
- At least 6 years of experience in requirement elicitation techniques like JAD/sessions, workshops, interviews, surveys etc.
- Ability to analyze and draw succinct conclusions to present findings.
- At least 6 years of experience around Business analysis, Impact analysis, Gap analysis and System analysis performed to a high standard.
- At least 6 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process.
- Should have rich experience on Middle office and back-office operations.
- Should have worked to gather detailed, specific, accurate, unambiguous business requirements and functional specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
- Good exposure to Agile methodologies (preferably Agile Scrum) as a Business Analyst.
- Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Co-ordination skills.
- Stakeholder management and reporting.
- Project and talent management.
- Experience with project management and relevant tools.
