TITLE: M&A Analyst LOCATION: Westchester, IL REPORTS TO: Senior Director, Mergers & Acquisitions Primary Function: The M&A Analyst will work with other members of the M&A team and C-Suite leadership to drive the execution of Ingredion’s M&A agenda across the globe. Key Deliverables Support the Vice-President, M&A with the execution of transactions Assist corporate and region teams to identify new acquisition targets Assist in the development of business cases, data analysis, financial models, and associated presentations Support the analysis and presentations for C-Suite and Board of Directors Primary M&A activities include: Review of inbound opportunities for strategic fit Financial modeling and valuation Due diligence of potential targets Coordination of global resources to align on M&A opportunities Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3 years of work experience in investment banking, management consulting or equivalent corporate accounting & finance experience Strategic mindset with experience in financial modeling, strategy assessment and project management (i.e., capital projects, budgeting/forecasting, organic growth projects, DCF analysis). Advanced accounting and financial modeling skills is a plus Excellent quantitative skill set and comfort with financial statements Highly skilled with Excel and Power Point The M&A team works in a Hybrid model, spending 2-3 days in the Westchester, IL office on average depending on deal flow Qualified candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the US Desired behaviors & experiences: Positive attitude, coachable, strong intellectual horsepower and eagerness to learn Highly collaborative and enjoys working in teams Results orientated with sense of urgency and curiosity to diagnose and resolve problems Demonstrates sound judgment Engage and communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally Comfort tackling multiple projects concurrently, supporting multiple stakeholders Ingredion provides accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
