TITLE: Associate Quality Control Analyst LOCATION: Argo Plant REPORTS TO: QC Lead The Associate Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the accurate and timely testing of products to meet the needs of internal and external customers for data and information on process & product quality. Core Responsibilities: Perform analytical tests independently and accurately as written in test procedures. Test samples are to be gathered and tested within expected time frame and stored as required. Maintain complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with Company policy and record keeping procedure. Follow all safety and quality guidelines according to Good Laboratory Practices and lab safety requirements. Keep work area clean and maintain a safe work environment. Provide support by maintaining a communication log and transfer information to lab personnel to continue supporting operations needs to meet customer requirements. Staying current with scientific developments in areas of expertise and responsibility. Working with Operations and Quality Assurance to identify, investigate, and resolve process discrepancies as appropriate. Performing other work as assigned. Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Food Science or related field. Previous laboratory experience or internship, a plus. Familiarity with analytical chemistry and chromatography. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma practices a plus. Possess good working knowledge of laboratory practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, SAP a plus. Strong oral, written, and computational skills. Ability to work in a diverse, team environment. Must be available for weekend and after hour coverage. Must demonstrate the following characteristics: high energy, innovative, organized, handles multiple tasks, and positive attitude.
