DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY
To effectively and efficiently manage Customer Care responsibilities and other duties as described below:
Manage all customer orders to include:
- Processing into the Computer system (AX)
- 1. Confirming available stock.
- 2. Confirming to the customer a scheduled ship date.
- 3. Coordinating with logistics and shipping to ensure on time shipments to the customer.
- 4. Communication of delays/ issues in pending orders to customers.
- 5. Creation of customer invoices and mail/e-mail to the customers.
- Attract potential customers by answering product questions.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Generates and maintain sales reports.
- Coordinate information with the Sales Team.
- Manage and assist incoming phone calls from the dedicated Customer Care line as part of the Customer Care team.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience working within an industrial manufacturing environment and Customer Service role.
- Must be able to follow work order instructions and prepare supporting reports.
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and maintain positive attitude and flexibility.
- Must demonstrate stellar communication skills.
- Must follow manufacturing processes and procedures to meet compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Exceptional attendance and work ethic
Desired:
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Familiar with freight scheduling
- Exporting experience
- BS or BA in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
