What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney (Hybrid - East Meadow, NY) position at Innovative Driven?
Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience to join the team at one of New York's leading defense firms! The ideal candidate will have at least two years of medical malpractice defense experience.
The firm will also consider candidates with government litigation experience, such as from the NYC Law Department, or a District Attorney's office. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dynamic and busy law practice!
The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in East Meadow, 2 remote!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafting/reviewing/responding to discovery documents
- Conducting and/or defending depositions
- Court appearances
- Motion practice
- Performing legal/medical research
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to NY bar
- 2 years litigation experience (medical malpractice defense focus preferred)
