Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to keeping pets safe, happy, and healthy. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on care for dogs and cats while supporting our medical team and maintaining a clean, organized facility.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evening shifts until 7–8pm, as needed.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, watering, walking, and monitoring well-being
- Supervise and rotate dogs in and out of the play yard throughout the day
- Ensure a safe, controlled, and fun environment for all dogs
- Maintain clean and sanitized pet suites, kennels, litter boxes, play yards, and common areas
- Handle laundry, dishes, and routine cleaning duties
- Greet clients, check pets in and out, and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Record notes and updates in pet care software (training provided)
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding pet needs, routines, and behavioral observations
- Assist with transporting pets to and from the veterinary clinic as needed
- Assist DVMs and veterinary technicians with basic support tasks as directed
- Experience working with dogs and cats preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable with hands-on animal care and extensive cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and some evening shifts
