Position : CAD Technician

Duration : 6 month Contract-to-Hire

Location : Ann Arbor, MI

Must Haves :

  • 1 -5 years of experience with AutoCAD and / or MicroStation designing (schooling experience acceptable for entry level candidates)
  • Associates degree preferred or applicable design training / certifications

Day to Day :

Insight Global is looking for a CAD Technician to join our clients' engineering team in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. The CAD Technician in this position will be part of the Power Generation / Delivery group generating and modifying drawings for high power substations or underground / overhead distribution systems. Other job responsibilities include :

  • Working in multiple design software, including AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • Able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
  • Work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team setting.
