What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Test Engineer position at Insight Global?
A client of Insight Global's in the North Denver area is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join their team. This team is looking for someone proficient in testim, java, and javascript. This group mainly manages bug fixes, testing of new features, and test validation. This person will be supporting digital and ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate for this position should have a curious mindset, ability to manage process improvement, pivot as changes are made, and be comfortable with out of the box solutions. This position is working MST hours M-F and has an onsite requirement of 1 to 2 days in the office. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for conversion in 2026, depending on budget. This position can pay between $45 to $55 an hour.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience
- Must have experience in automated testing using tools like testim or similar.
- Experience coding / scripting with java / javascript.
- Experience working hand in hand with development teams including test validation and writing test cases.
- Experience working alongside a manual testing team.
- Comfortable working with a curious mindset meaning sharing feedback on process improvement, getting hands on with development teams, troubleshooting, and being proactive.
