Job Title: Software Engineer (.NET/Angular)
Location: REMOTE

$110,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary. Though exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
A client is looking for a Back End Engineer to join their team! In this role you will be working 20% on the frontend and 80% on the backend. The tools/technologies you will be working with consist of .Net 8, Angular 19, Kubernetes, SQL Server, and more! In this role you will work with a mix of new and existing code – we are looking for someone who has professional experience working with .Net Core or newer and Angular 14 or newer; preferred .Net 8 and Angular 18 or newer. In addition, this company is adopting AI and we are looking for someone who is passionate about AI, from professional experience, personal projects, this role will involve using AI to help optimize your code. Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong backend development experience with a focus on maintenance, debugging, and process optimization
- Deep SQL expertise: Ability to work with complex stored procedures; business logic is primarily in SQL, not application code
- Experience with .NET 8, .NET Core, and legacy .NET Framework
- Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Understanding of Windows Services and backend service orchestration
Clearinghouse & Claims Processing
- Preferred: Experience working in a claims clearinghouse or healthcare data processing environment
- Familiarity with X12 EDI standards and troubleshooting non-compliant data formats
- Experience resolving data processing issues and working with provider file submissions
Soft Skills & Work Style
- Highly methodical and detail-oriented; enjoys tedious, problem-solving-heavy work
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with constant backend process changes
- Team player who fits well in a .NET-centric engineering culture
Preferred Experience:
- Experience and passion around working with AI: Co-pilot, Claude, Windsurf, Gemini Code or similar
