Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Export Compliance Officer to join our client’s team in Pittsburgh (Cheswick). This role is critical in ensuring client operations comply with global export control laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the site and division lead for all export compliance activities. • Conduct export jurisdiction and classification determinations. • Advise on export license and authorization requirements. • Collaborate with technical teams to determine Schedule B / HTS codes. • Assist in completing export-related documentation (e.g., end-use statements, foreign procurement approvals). • Provide guidance on export transactions, including hardware shipments and document markings. • Review and advise on export compliance terms and conditions. • File reports for DOE Part 810 and other authorized export activities. • Support corporate Global Trade Compliance (GTC) reporting requirements. • Request export licenses via GTC and distribute license control plans (ACP’s). • Track license validity and remaining shippable quantities. • Provide historical context for complex export control activities to GTC. • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and act as an effective team member. • Ensure compliance with local procedures, company policies, and safety, environmental, and security guidelines.
Compensation:
$90,000 to $98,000 per year annual salary.
