A client of insight global is seeking a meticulous and experienced Customs Entry Specialist (Entry Writer) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in processing Customs entries and handling air and ocean import documentation from A to Z. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities :
Process Customs entries and handle all related air and ocean import documentation.
Classify shipments accurately.
Ensure high accuracy in data processing and attention to detail.
Maintain a working knowledge of Other Government Agencies (OGA) such as FDA, EPA, etc.
Coordinate effectively with truckers, airlines, foreign agents, freight forwarders, and Customs brokers.
Provide accurate quotes to customers and overseas agents.
Deliver excellent customer service and communication.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Compensation : $58,000 to $63,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
