Job Responsibilities:
The Clinical Informatics Specialist is the go-to person for staff when it comes to clinical applications like PowerChart, Surginet, Anesthesia, and Firstnet. This role involves working with the Clinical Informatics (CI) Manager, Director, and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) to improve workflows and processes related to IT systems, making clinical applications more effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a resource and contact for staff on clinical applications such as PowerChart, Surginet, Anesthesia, and Firstnet.
- Work with the CI Manager, Director, and CMIO to improve workflows and processes for IT systems.
- Train new physician medical staff, residents, locums, and midlevel providers.
- Complete ongoing education and training for physician staff and super users.
- Work with IT clinical analysts to resolve issues efficiently, using the change management process.
- Act as a resource and liaison at medical staff meetings throughout the healthcare system.
- Help IT with the implementation and upgrades of inpatient clinical applications.
Salary : $65,000 - $105,000
